2005 Transactions
Angel Aragon was
released by the Ft. Worth
Cats of the Independent Central League on May 19, 2005.
Bo Ashabraner, Cleveland Indians, began the 2005 season on
the Class A Lake
County Captains disabled list. Reinstated
from the DL May 5, 2005, and released
May 21, 2005.
Josh Buhagiar, Arizona Diamondback, played for the South
Bend Silver Hawks, and was
released on July 14, 2005.
Casey Grzecka, was
released June 17, 2005, by the Chico Outlaws of the Golden
Baseball League.
Max Tremblay played for the Lincoln Saltdogs in the independent
Northern League in 2004, and was on their inactive list until he was
removed
from the inactive roster on June 27, 2005.
Chris Wright, retired
June 16, 2005, from the Fullerton Flyers of the Golden Baseball
League.
Chad Bentz was released
by the Florida Marlins on September 2, 2005, and is now a free agent.
Justin Hall was granted
free agency by the St.
Paul Saints of the American Association (then of the Northern
League) on September 26, 2005. On December 7, 2005, it was announced
that he had retired.
Jeremy Ward (Atlanta Braves organization) became a six year
minor league free agent, October, 2005, according to Baseball America.
